On April 21, 2016, Charlie a two and a half year old Doberman Pinscher passed the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluation administered by Michael Burkey, owner of Michigan Dog Training (MDT) in Plymouth, Michigan. Charlie was trained by his owners Holly and David Cotham of Plymouth, Michigan. They are part of the Doberman Gang of Detroit, a social network of Doberman owners who took an Intermediate Manners class together at MDT. Congratulations Holly!

Your dog can become a Canine Good Citizen as well.  Enroll your dog in the upcoming May 2016 group classes by going to the Michigan Dog Training website and click on the blue icon, titled “Book Online.”  Then select one of several classes that are offered:  Pup 1 Manners, Pup 2 Manners, Basic Manners, Intermediate Manners, Tricks and Fun Agility, Nosework, and Sport Protection Dog.
