On April 22, 2016 two more Doberman Pinschers became Canine Good Citizens (CGC). Â They passed the CGC evaluation with flying colors administered by Michael Burkey owner of Michigan Dog Training in Plymouth,
Michigan.
They too along with Holly Cotham had participated in an Intermediate Manners group dog training class at MDT. Â Gotham and her dog Charlie were unable to make tonight’s testing and thus took and passed the evaluation yesterday. Â The three of them are members of the “Doberman Gang of Detroit”, of a social network of Doberman owners who train and socialize together. The dogs celebrated by having a fun romp together and tiring themselves out proving a tired dog is a good dog.
Congratulations to tonight’s dog teams:
- Nicole Flatley and her dog “Nicole’s Cry Me a River No More (River)”, a Doberman Pinscher of Novi, Michigan
- Gene Mininni and his dog “Nico”, a Doberman Pinscher of Livonia, Michigan
