Working with you has made a difference in both our approach to training Pippin and our understanding of his behavior problems. We have participated in various obedience 
classes with our dogs over the years and none of them compare favorably with either your dog classes or private dog training. We were amazed given Pippin’s aggression towards other dogs that after several individual sessions he could later attend one of your classes with other dogs present. You helped us have the confidence we needed to know what to do and helped him learn the appropriate responses in various situations.
My husband and I both admire your training skills. The depth of knowledge you have acquired thru years of experience is readily evident. During our private lessons you quickly knew which technique would best accomplish our specific training goals. Your genuine affection for dogs has provided you with an innate ability to understand which training method will be the most successful one to use.
Showing us how to properly use a remote collar as a training device has been very effective. Not knowing how to use a remote collar I had never considered purchasing one and I am glad I waited. After learning how to use one correctly I realize that they can be misused. Also, you helped us select the right one for Pippin. Previously I thought they functioned similarly to an electronic fence collar where the dog receives a “shockâ€. I now know that is a misconception. Working with you I learned how to set the collar at the correct level and how use it as a positive teaching device. Also, using the remote collar is more expedient. Pippin learned quickly after a session or two, whereas, other training techniques we tried in the past were not as successful even after many lessons.
