The American Kennel Club (AKC) has come out with an advanced version of their popular Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title. It’s called the Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA). Your dog’s manners will be evaluated in group type situations amongst distractions of other dogs and people. Michigan Dog Training (MDT) LLC will host both the CGC and the CGCA evaluations on Wednesday November 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at its Plymouth location, 1031 Cherry Street. Purebred and mixed breeds may take the evaluations.
In order to take the CGCA, dogs must have previously passed the CGC and be registered with the AKC. If your dog is not purebred or does not have registration papers, no worries, you can apply for an AKC PAL number. Cost of the testing is only $20.00 for either test. To register for the testing, call 734-634-4152.
