On November 26, 2016, Bear a lovable Bernese Mountain Dog and his handler Rob Pavlick of Plymouth, Michigan passed the Therapy Pets Unlimited (TPU) Therapy Dog evaluation at Michigan Dog Training in Plymouth, Michigan.
Bear and Rob prepared for the evaluation by attending dog training classes at MDT and earning their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title. Bear and Rob will make a wonderful and caring Therapy Dog Team. Congratulations Rob and Bear!
TPU is a non-profit therapy pet organization founded in 2014. Volunteer teams visit nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools and libraries. In addition to strengthening the pet/human bond, the rewards of easing grief, stress and loneliness within the community through friendly pet visits are immeasurable.
