On May 29, 2014 Heba Abuhussein and her Labrador Retriever “Bear” of Ypsilanti, Michigan; passed the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluation at Michigan Dog Training (MDT) in Plymouth, Michigan. The ten step evaluation measures the dog’s obedience skills, friendliness to strangers and reaction to other dogs.

Prior to taking the evaluation, Heba and Bear participated in private dog training lessons with Michael Burkey, Dog Behaviorist and President at MDT. In a very short time, Heba trained Bear to go from pulling on the leash to working (heeling, staying, and coming when called) off leash with reliability.  Congratulations Heba and Bear CGC!
