Bernice and Murphy a four year old German Shepherd dog, participated in in-home dog training with Michael Burkey, a Michigan professional dog trainer and dog behaviorist. Before training, it was very difficult for Bernice to walk Murphy in public settings.
Murphy not only learned to heel on a loose leash but to also enjoy taking a group dog hike in a local forest followed by relaxing with other well behaved dogs at the Cold Stone Creamery, while their owners enjoyed ice cream on a hot day. Afterward, Bernice wrote the following message:
“Hi Mike,
Thanks for your help and support with Murphy.  I was very pleased with him yesterday. We have made a lot of progress quickly with your help.
I will sign up for the meetup group. I look forward to the next outing!
