Tonight, November 1, 2014, Kaboom, a Belgian Malinois trained by Michael Burkey of Michigan Dog Training makes his movie debut in the film entitled, “Mr. What”. In the film, Kaboom befriends and protects a man who was wrongly sentenced to prison for 22 years. Burkey was the stunt man in the movie as well as the on set dog trainer. Kaboom has four scenes in the movie including a bite scene where he saves the lead character.
“Mr. What” is a Shaun Maki Film, starring Pastor Alan Maki. Its a story of redemption. Mr. What, though innocent, has spent 22 years in prison. Upon apprehension of the real criminal, he seeks redemption in Tecumseh through his ailing father, a stray dog, and an endearing little boy.
The movie airs tonight, November 1, 2014 at 7:00pm at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts, 400 N. Maumee Street, Tecumseh, Michigan 49286. Tickets can be purchased at the box office after 6:00pm, Adult tickets $10.00 and Senior/Youth tickets $8.00.
