A frequently asked question is whether or not the board and train dog training program is successful once the dog transitions from our K9 Camp to their home environment. And, the answer is positively “yes!” This is because the dog has had a change in routine whereby new behaviors are learned and reinforced. Michigan Dog Training LLC also ensures that the owners not only have a take home session to learn how to continue the dog’s new established behaviors but are also able to come back for refresher private sessions and group classes at no charge.
As a testimonial to this, we received a wonderful update from Darby’s parents that he (an Airdale) continues to do well in their home environment after completing our four-week K9 Camp program. Prior to his K9 Camp, Darby was a wild child. He is still an energetic and happy boy but one with manners and he is able to self impose a state of calmness.
