4 New CGC Stars at Michigan Dog Training

By Essential IT

150_cgcpatch.jpgOn February 5, 2013 four dog handlers and their dogs passed the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluation at Michigan Dog Training (MDT). The evaluation was conducted by MDT Lead Trainer Wendy Bemis and assisted by Dog Trainer Charles Duckworth.  The CGC is an AKC Title consisting of ten components to ensure the dogs behave well in public and the handlers have good obedience control over their dogs as well as are responsible dog owners.

Congratulations to:

  1. Sharon Shada and Daisey Mae Shada, Great Dane/St. Bernard of Novi, Michigan
  2. Suzanne Seibel and Skylar, English Shepherd of Plymouth, Michigan
  3. Jill Marquette and Opie, old English Sheepdog of South Lyon, Michigan
  4. Tracie Magusin and Sargeant Rucus Magusin of Lincoln Park, Michigan

If you’re interested in having your dog become a CGC Star, contact Amy at Michigan Dog Training or by calling her at 734-634-4152.  She will set you up with the right training program for your dog.
